Bit of history and the scratching onto film technique!

Well sometime last week i was looking into some traditional animation techniques that are still used today and one of them was scratching into camera film. One of the problems i was faced with was getting my images to stand out more.I scratched into the film and applied different medias such as indian ink , marker pen , bleach and acrylic paint.
